Delicious & Diigo

Delicious offer fewer options, which may make it easier for the beginner. Both require the installation of buttons or links to your browsers.

Look at a social networking site, such as my delicious site: www.delicious.com/amann

Use the tag identifer to search for all sites identified with a specific tag, e.g. www.delicious.com/tag/math Consider if your students could create a collaborative collect using school specific tags, such as "cisdmath". Consider what might happen if someone from outside the group used this tag?
Consider how you can use your network and share sites with users in your network. Add a user to your network or join someone else's network.
Diigo has Groups - which can be a powerful way to get new information. You can subscribe to groups to be kept up-to-date on what is found. You can create a group for your classroom or project, making it public or private. Look at the groups that I subscribe at: http://groups.diigo.com/user/andymann
